Awards

Kontent driven websites have achieved many awards over the years. Here are some highlights.

Winner - Public Relations Institute of Australia - 1999 awards for excellence - multimedia communications

In 1999, the Kontent system as used by the Association of Consulting Surveyors Australia (ACSA), won the Public Relations Institute of Australia (ACT) award for excellence in the category of "multimedia communications".

The Public Relations Institute recognised the unique features of Kontent as a key ingredient to ACSA's public (and member) relations strategy. The simplicity with which anyone in the Association from the Chief Executive Officer down can keep its website up-to-date has kept ACSA's website at the forefront of surveying resource portals for members and the public (see www.surveying.org.au).

Finalist - 2002 Ericsson Innovations Awards

The Kontent driven website of National Promotions was one of only three finalists in the 2002 Ericsson Innovations Awards. National Promotions was selected on the basis of its innovative Kontent driven website which blends a large amount of client maintained information with an extremely easy to use public front end.

Winner - 2002 Allhomes.com.au award for Internet Advertising

The Kontent driven heart of the peterblackshaw.com website was one of the key aspects for the Agency winning this award. For over 5 years Kontent has allowed the Agency to maintain its own property listings including extensive details and any number of photos for each property. Kontent is so easy to use that the agents themselves are able to take responsibility for maintaining their own property listings. This reduces the workload on administrative staff and also increases the timeliness and accuracy of the property information.

Inaugural winner (2006) of the Award for Excellence in e-Government

The ACT Department of Urban Services won the inaugural Award for Excellence in e-Government for the Learner Licence Knowledge WebTest powered by the Kontent system. The Learner Licence Knowledge WebTest was developed by GKY Internet for the Department of Urban Services as a way to allow Canberrans to undertake exams for their learners permits online. The online system replaced a multitude of separate test instances in various schools and testing organisations.

For more information see the official AGIMO media release or have a look at the online knowledge test (a practice version of the learner test) at the Road Ready Website. The Road Ready Website also utilises the Kontent system for content management.
