ACT Chief Minister and Minister for Health, Katy Gallagher launching the new Health Services Directory- Find a health service
GKY would like to congratulate the ACT Health Directorate on its launch today by ACT Chief Minister and Minister for Health, Katy Gallagher, of the new Health Services Directory - Find a health service - an online tool for all healthcare service information for Canberrans and the people of surrounding regions.
GKY worked with the ACT Health Directorate to produce the most advanced and full featured public interface to the national Health Services Directory ("HSD") to date.
Functionality includes:
  • full text searching across all information in the directory;
  • suggestions for misspelled search words;
  • a fast and intuitive point and click interface utilising ACT Health Directorate unique service categories;
  • mapping and geolocation of services;
  • 'nearby' service suggestions; and
  • 'open now' and 'after hours' search refinement capability.
